An old geezer recalls some of the antics of the men and women of his western town, more wild and woolly than Tombstone or Dodge City. In this town, no one is a good shot, the women are hungry for new meat, and practical jokers abound. A stranger strolls into town, proving resistant to the mayhem and, after donning some cowboy duds, begins cleaning up that town. This one actually has some decent production values. 1931 directed by Otto Brower and David Burton starring Gary Cooper, Lili Damita, Tully Marshall, Ernest Torrance, Eve Southern and Fred Kohler. Gary Cooper is a young scout who leads a wagon train across country, battling evil Indians and seedy traders, while his two unwashed companions (both confirmed bachelors) try and save him from falling in love (ew!) with a girl (yuck!). Goldilocks and The Three Bares  is a 1963  nudie-cutie  film from the legendary exploitation team of  Herschell Gordon Lewis  and  David F. Friedman . The title has absolutely nothing to do with the famous fable which inspired the title. Appropriately billed as the "first nudist musical" (not to be confused with  The First Nudie Musical , 1976), it has considerably more depth than their prior attempts at this genre. 1954 directed by Byron Haskin starring Robert Newton as Long John and Kit Taylor as Jim Hawkins, with Connie Gilchrist, Lloyd Berrell, Grant Taylor, Rod Taylor and Harvey Adams . When Long John discovers that rival pirate Mendoza has captured a ship that has Jim Hawkins on it, he devises a plan to rescue him.   And of course, to also get some treasure.   Nice Technicolor picture with plenty of “aarghs.”

A rarity. Surviving extant fragments of the 1926 production based on Ernest Pascal's story "Egypt". Roughly 1/3 of the film missing. Most of the beginning middle and end of the film are present. All of the material is pieced together in the correct chronological order it appeared in the film. This is the final feature directed by Lois Weber. This film stars the legendary silent screen siren Billie Dove.

1907 Segundo de Chomón Le Scarabe d'or (The Golden Beetle) Note: This film is often incorrectly attributed to Ferdinand Zecca, a very talented comtemporary film-maker who often collaborated on films with Segundo de Chomón through Pathé Frères, for its direction. Weird, creative, and colorful, the visuals in "The Golden Beetle" are as spectacular as anything made in the early years of cinema. This had to have taken both a lot of skill and a lot of work to plan and execute. It uses...
