Baytekin Fezada Carpinsanlar is a Turkish sci-fi film from 1967. This is a very amusing and low-budget movie that's sure to please fans of cult, psychotronic or old Turkish films. This is a grand space opera whose laser beams are accomplished by scratching on the film with a pin, whose monsters are realized by covering extras in burlap sacks, where the illusion of two people talking to each other via view screen is pulled off by having the two parties stand on either side of a view screen...

Finally and infinitely brought to the point. (L.M.) The spectator hears that the train is coasting, but he sees that the train goes nowhere, a common view is mounted to a magical journey. (UWE NETTELBECK, DIE ZEIT, 5.1.68) The viewer pases, while the film rolls, different phases of experience: 1. He is confused and looks for an order 2. He discovered the two recurring cutting points at which use the same landscape pieces appear 3. He is pleased with his discovery and observes the neighbor 4. He...

A team of astronauts crashes on the surface of Venus. Accompanied by their robot, they explore the surface and end up destroying the Venusian God. This film is also known as "The Gill Women" and "The Gill Women of Venus". This film began life as a Soviet-produced work. An American producer then added some new footage and changed the credits to hide the film's Soviet origin. The original film, "Planeta Bur", is also known as "Cosmonauts on Venus",...

In the lower half of the screen the legs of a dancing girl can be seen, in the upper half of the screen we have perforated movie - in a butterfly way. "Danceloop" shows in the lower half of the screen the legs of a dancing girl, the rest of the screen is pierced in a fussy work with a needle. (H.P. KOCHENRATH, FILM, JAN. 69)

I threw the camera in the air and in this way I was able to express my aversion to conventional film show and skip my own limits. (LUTZ MOMMARTZ) "Selfshots" is the visual biography of an unconventional filmmaker. As a director, cinematographer and actor in one person, he points the camera on himself. He plays with her , throws it into the air, hurtling across the meadows, filmed his movements, his face and his hands and demonstrates in this way his adventurous relationship with a...

With the Rockband "The Iceni" and NN Five men in white clothing floating against a black background. And in the split screen above the torso of a man. Below the lower body of the dancing girl from the "dance loop". More complicated is "Up / Down", that recorded alternately in slow motion and normal recording five male dancers and a female dancer. The image is divided horizontal in the middle so that the body of a man can be combined with the one of the girl. Then...

The author uses the camera as the eye, moves so one-handed through home and welcomes after peeing with his free hand, people at a party. I've seen "The Stairs", which was not shown in Knokke at the Cream Cheese, a Beat-Restaurant in the historic center of Düsseldorf, where films from Lutz Mommartz were projected on the wall. The film shows a man at home with the camera: A man who keeps a running camera in his hand, observing him making his household tasks. From a grotesque...

With Günther Uecker and Brigitte Stöckhert Male finger between two female fingers. Addicional eroctic giggling. In "The Finger" we see a male finger moving between two female fingers; with that the giggeling of a woman and a man. A film of sensual touch with all its related associations. (H.P.KOCHENRATH)

Hard-boiled eggs turn against black background. In "Trademark eggs" many eggs rotate continuously, as if by magic. The effect is achieved by a simple trick: The eggs were turned and shaken on a black plate. (LEXIKON DES NEUEN EUROPÄISCHEN FILMS) "Trademark eggs" shows a handful of these chicken-final-products, hard boiled like tracer bullets shooting over a black film, rotating on it. Ground-breaking example of "cinema verite" filmmaking at its best! This documentary explores the individual experiences of Pentacostal Christians. Film culminates with ceremonial handling of poisonous snakes. Ironically, it is the preacher that gets bitten.
