Forgive me but I just found this site and I am going to ask a questions that I am sure has been asked 1000s of times. How/can I transfer songs to my iPod? Second, I am trying to email songs to myself and I keep getting an error message saying add an email, which is on my profile, and I use my personal email from this laptop.
The unheralded night of the run has some pretty solid 2nd set moments; that from-the-full-stop Jerry-led jazz jam out of Saint leads into an absolutely gorgeous Comes a Time, the highlight for me. That Other One is no slouch, either.
The next couple of nights I don't feel were *that* special to warrant an official release, but this is good music. Definitely give the Jam through Other One a listen -

The Lawn Giland base
The lesser of a 3-day run that gets better with each set. These shows were before the hot Boulder and Anchorage shows (parts of the next two nights are on Go to Nassau). They were making an effort to promote Go to Heaven, which was just hitting stores, and this night played 7 of the 8 (live) songs from the album!
First Set. Alabama is trying for none better the next night. Jer uses "just turn round" here (and sit down), showing he was testing comprehension over scanning. The 16th is better for Promised Land and etc., for a just-a-little-below-average set. The mid-set Let it Grow is nice - they were usually playing it into Deal at the time. Easy to Love You was only played one day of the run - probably because this almost trainwrecks.
Second Set. Brent's great on Feel Like a Stranger, but the next night's the one. Sugaree is long but a bit aimless. The 16th is better for the next couple, though Saint has a cool little jam-after. The drummers stay for Space for most dates on this tour. Around and Around is better on this night. Johnny B. Goode is the tightest they play all night, culminating in a hot Dough Knees - leave 'em thinking you were great!
1st Set: C- 2nd Set: C
Overall = 2½ stars
Don't Ease Me In - There are some great ones in '80. Some are even this good.
SOURCES: Clugston SBD is best for the 2nd set. The dusborne matrix is better for the 1st set, where the vox are mixed too high, and for the AUD-only encore. However, it's pitched too slow starting at Tennessee Jed, needing +1%.

It's just so hard to find anything substantively wrong with any show from this era. Well played, full of energy and the occasional surprise - Stranger > Sugaree?

Backround vocals? Good Point
No beginner here and have question who is singing back up vocals during Easy to love you? sounds like Bobby and 1 of the drummers.
Part 2 is who is singing back up? I agree many do not listen to the song only reason I came back to it is because they pulled it out of the old bag in 1990 again. I would not of pulled it out again either but they did.

Easy to skip
Nobody knows the answer to that question of who is singing back-up vocals, because no one ever listens to Easy to Love You.

Very strong show
This is a very good sounding show, and it has some very good playing. Particularly the Sailor->Saint and the Let It Grow. Worth the download.
hey i just realized -- this was my first GD show, ever !! i was in tenth grade ...... i kept coming kept so i must've liked it ...
i remember the very first notes -- of alabama getaway -- something the way it sounded, right out of the gate ... I "knew" instantly.

let it grow into althea
this blend of Let It Grow into Althea is so amazing. i wish they did it more and also that this recorded version didn't cut right as they blend into each other. love the Easy To Love, too. and if this wasn't a great night for you who were there, you are spoiled! :-)also, amazed you remember the shows so vividly! that was near 30 years ago, and you speak as if it was yesterday!

very heart felt version of Comes a Time. I've always like the Strangers from this decade as well.

Go To Nassau
None of this show was used for Go To Nassau. I was at this show, felt it was kinda laid back, but fun. I agree that the 3rd night of the run was the best by far.
