I've been listening to this show for years now and it always gets me. Branford adds some beautiful sounds to the dead, making it sound like he's been with them for years. Just hearing the opening riff, followed by the soothing jazz sounds emitted from his insturment. Ahh, beatiful. Smoke a bowl of some kind, throw on this version of eyes, and just drown into it. Journey into one of the best versions of eyes of the world you will ever hear thorughout their entire 30 year span. Fellow heads, this is it! Five stars.

If this don't make you smile and feel a mile high then nothing in this world will....
Oh yeah.. and the rest of the show is pretty good too.
Easily one of the best...with or without Branford. Such an interesting groove, and at a tempo that really allows for some interesting interplay between Jerry and Phil. Never heard Phil play this quite like it again. Big question: Were Jerry's vocals on "Eyes" re-recorded for "...Net"? There's definitely some quirks here that differ from the album version. Since that album was released by Arista (as opposed to GD/Rhino), I wouldn't put it past the record co. execs to have mandated that....whatta ya think?

Subject: Great Sound!!!!!
Subject: The source...
Subject: Unbelieveable sound for an audience tape
I'd like to hear the first set sometime. I can't give the second any less than 5 stars considering the Dark Star and the sound quality (if they had done He's Gone instead of Dark Star this would be a 3 star show).
Subject: Beautiful in every way!
Subject: This was my first Dead show!
Subject: Missing lots of Branford
Subject: Matrix for Sure
Subject: thanks branford

Subject: Great Source!!!
Subject: FOB ? I dont think so
I've listened to A LOT of the schoeps FOBs from this tour, and none of them sound like this. with this recording you can hear some crowd, but not enough, and not at the "right times" when you would expect to hear a few yips and yells and claps around the mics.
I used to have a schoeps FOB cassette of this night, and you could easily tell it was an AUD source from the crowd reactions, especialy the 2nd solo in Eyes where Jerry goes to the MIDI Flute. There was a sweeping "aaaahhhhh" that went through the crowd (and my brain) when he hit those first long midi notes. These types of instant reactions are not present on this recording. So unless the mics were 20' in the air and really close to the stage, I just dont buy into this as an AUD source of any kind.
