Recorded, mastered, and tracked by Scott Bernstein
Notes:
The A/C was broken in the club, and it was 85 degrees and humid outside, so the ~95 degree tempeartures inside made it feel like an authentic night at The Maple Leaf in New Orleans. George was all smiles all night, having so much fun with his reconstituted Runnin' Pardners, and his buddies in Papa Grows Funk (who opened), including John Gros, who George eventually did a little dance routine with onstage.
The place started out packed, but ended up empty as the less strong-willed (maybe less insane?) people dropped off as the heat got to them.
You get to listen to this recording in whatever climate controlled environment you want, but picture yourself inside of a HOT, SWEATY club while listening. :-)
