John De La O and Henry Stewart, both Brooklynites, self taught musicians and self made men of radically different origin, met originally in 1996. John grew to like Henry very much, proposing that they both collaborate on some material, which at the time, was very much in the folk-pop vein. They chose their name because it was easy, and as a reference to the folk and blues traditional number. They began their musical odyssey churning out hook-filled folk in John's bedroom,They later decided that they could use a drummer to beef up their sound......enter BRIAN BONZ! He was a junior thumper of the highest order and now a devoted member of the "band".they started rehearsing as a 4 piece with superstar guitarist Mike Strandberg, Brian's older brother who was friends with John since eighth grade. Enter Bass and Electric Guitar! They soon became the noisy pop rock unit that you will hear on this cd. They have played several clubs together, never failing to make the kids dance. They recorded a 5 song E.P. with the help of Cubase and Joe Napolitano.
