John runs pdrboston.org an egalitarian site. John often speaks about local issues in his town of Arlington, Massachusetts. He is a tireless activist in so many ways and I have the utmost respect for him. Lately we differed on a point - his focus on "deleting the elite". I say we forget about deleting anyone - let's get to work building the egalitarian world we want and do what we're capable of doing now, right now. We will learn as we go - we'll use our principles as our guide. I was saddened by John's rebuttal of our friendship because we differed on a point. I feel we need to build a world where we can all coexist with our differences. Right now we who understand what's really going on, need to step up to the plate and act as models for how this may be done while we're all still so locked into the patrix and in so many ways. Shunning each other is petulant and immature. I am calling it out because it is so part of our culture that it needs to be brought into the light where we can fix it. If we say nothing about it - as we females tend to do - it will go on unnoticed and unvalued like everything else that is female. We have to move towards egalitarianism and doing that requires us to reconnect with everyone.
