Since its formation in the early 1990s, the open source nature of Linux has ensured great variation in the release of distributions, including variations on floppy disk, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and online-only.

An interesting build from ETP chromecast_pup is a specialised Pup for anyone who owns or intends to buy a Chromecast. I have found that my own is excellent with YouTube but rather poor with the experimental feature of casting a browser tab.
