After using a microfilm/fiche scanner to create a digital image of each page, we process the resulting images so that each reel is contained in a single item with easily navigable files.

The history of the Christian Courier newspaper goes back to the 1940s when two Canadian newspapers, one called Canadian Calvinist and the other called Contact, merged to form Calvinist Contact, a newspaper serving Dutch Reformed immigrants. The newspaper slowly transitioned from Dutch to English, a transition that was complete by 1989.
