Last of the batch of songs made with lofi percussion and samples. This is a song about a jokester from back in the day who tried to satirize life in realtime in place of normal interpersonal communication. Deadman wore a Robin Hood costume and danced the safety dance while recording the vocals. Digi Hartatak performed most music tracks while holding his breath and wearing a cheap plastic fireman's helmet.

The Brigantine Castle was a haunted house attraction on the Jersey Shore that burned down before it was scheduled to be demolished. I started off trying to make an another "ambient' song but it was so horribly boring I figured anyone who listened to it would go into a coma. I added actual sounds from the recordings that played in various parts of the castle during the 70's, some authentic sounds of the northern atlantic and the actual Philadelphia news report about the fire. Along with...

Old recordings from CD's and cassettes from the 90's. Recorded on standard speed cassette 4 track and ART multiverb. Digi plays guitar, bass, keys, samplers, noises and vocals (ouch). Deadman plays guitar on the "in time" portion of creatordoubletheator and provides spoken word, weird noises and flatulence and French Pimp of Palmaire plays the angry guy tryin to sleep. Deadman on vocals and Digi Hartatak on guitar, synth and programming. Per a recent interview with Digi Hartatak, "I originally conceived the idea for this song while contemplating the vast emptyness in between my sound processing organs. The last time I did a song that mentioned minimal everyone complained and said it was too busy so I decided to build a song on only two notes. I dumbed down the bassline as much as I could without having a seizure and fought to keep only 2 voices for most of the song. I could not stop myself from adding the synth solo at the end and the piano triads which added another 4 notes. As for the ambient part, I used recent field recordings that I just added to Freesound over an almost drone like...

I started off with a 3/4 march from an old wax cylinder from 1898 and added some snippets from pop culture and history until I built it up enough to morph to 4/4 time for some swing notes. Mix is muddy as hell so I left out the bass and threw in some vocals and morphed it again into a world drone nightmare. Guest appearances by Deadman and Nay Nay on vocals.

Loosely based on things like an ancient Delphic Hymn and funky disco of the 1970's with other eclectic but cleverly connected themes, 3 contrasting and complimentary tracks created with Reaper demonstrate a new production quality for the future. The immense implosion of gravity in on it's self around the machine creates heat and friction in the internal components untill one of them breaks and the machine comes crashing down. When the machine shuts down, the illusion generators and subliminal brain washing centers will be exposed...

4 Tracks from Deadman & Digi Hartatak covering a range of styles from electronic to jazz. Track 1 starts off with a live progressive jam inspired buildup into techno idiocy for the consumers but takes a nice 90 degree turn into deja vu laden reminiscence and then back to familar terrority in time to get off for the next song. Track 2 AKA Rastafyaron, is an assembly of contraband sounds and satanic toys in a pagan seance of herbal energy that rises from epic deep sloth into gyrating patterns...

Digi Hartatak tells the story of the counter culture movement and it's inlfuence on our present day situation. He builds on a minimalist drum machine beat with electric bass, guitars and some non intrusive synth work to create the basic song foundation. Adding to that are clips of Timothy Leary and some related and not so related snippets of pop culture along with some elements from NoiseCollector and others at Freesound and CCMisxter including: "cellos two chords 88 bpm.wav" by...

Big Bang Machine An audio documentary of a monstrous malfunctioning apparatus created by Europeans to simulate the biggest bang in history by smashing small things against each other creating a black whole that nothing can escape from and that could possibly destroy the planet. Behardouche Pronounced (bay-har-doo-SHAY), a sonic examination of the art of generalizations, broad statements, arrogance and blood curdling and annoying raspy nasal speech. Space history told heavy techno style. Created on my spare time entirely with an old Pentium 2 with 32 megs of memory. I had a soft synth that would not run on XP and I forget the name. I had to use 22k sampling rate to keep my system from freezing up while recording the individual tracks with Cool Edit 96 (still using it!). Added various sounds and instruments to these tracks afterwards.

Instrumental that was just a few unrelated drum beats yesterday taking up space on the hard drive. I heard a melody in the percussion and built it up with a few synth layers and finally some lead guitar.

4 track recordings from the summer of 92. Lipski appears on guitar and drum machine, Valdo appears on guitar and partial vocals (someone muted out his rap?) These are some of the last recordings I made before moving to Florida. I play bass, guitar, drum machine, yamaha sampler, keyboard, Amiga 500 & 8 bit Digital Sound Studio and some yelling and screaming. Justin screams along in a track

Before NWA there were the Noyz Boyz... From Pleasantville (AKA Rumbletown from Springsteen fame) and Peck's Beach came C Unick, Jaymo and DJ Jizm and their gangsta ghetto hip hop, genitalia in your face and all that jazz. Easy E used to bow down and worship these pastmasters of urban audio. Listen to the raw and uncensored strife of project thuggery and straight up cussing to the funky grooves you cannot resist.

Another sonic tribute to an arcade that made a point to put a ciggarette machine next to the change machine where kids could buy them. You will have to put up with the vocals, I did the best I could, I do like the nasty electric bassline though, when you can hear it... mess with your EQ, I will.

"Drone Wars" is a clash of DNB-like beats, Tibetan bell and bowl drones and image synth tracks from my "Ancient Geometry" sample pack at Freesound. Sequences and pads are based on images of ancient patterns from historic civilisations pitched in the range of 432hz in chromatic and microtuned increments. I added old middle ages sounds from a serpent and some A432 tuned violin to give it some organic elements. "Suburbia" is based on the late 70's to early 80's small...

Anderstein exacts his revenge in the revenge track one with pulsating digital echoes of conflict and chanting chaos. Has a bit of DC street musicians mixed in and served with some guitar and a side of upright jazz bass. Urbana- A short sonic montage of Manhattan including sounds of...

1. Religion of Piece Original music played on an Alesis synthesizer mixed with recordings of Obama, stretched samples from jihadist propaganda from www.archive.org and some of my samples from Freesound. From the hypnotic and soothing introduction to the other worldly blending of presidential holiday speeches and holy war vocal samples to the startling blunt recording of a girl calling 911 after her father had shot her and her sister and left them to die for dishonoring the family... this is a...

2 tracks from Deadman and Digi Hartatak about marijuana, using sounds from a an old drug education film found in the Prelinger collection here on the archive. Although both pieces are the same tempo, "Sense" is a much slower sounding booty bass jam with some funky drums, software DJ scratching, synthbass, a plastic comb, and various synth elements and mangled samples. Deadman on vocals and situational comedy. Most of the synth tracks give way to some almost accapella work by Deadman...

I started this before September 11th on my old PC and never finished it. Moved to new PC in 2004 and sat there until now. I finallly figured out the software synth I used to make a lot of these songs. It was called Timber Wolf v3.0. I added drums and samples and never went further. Part of this batch is what is left of "TAPE #4" which I left in someone's blue Chevy Nova last seen going full speed down the Garden State Parkway. Thanks to Art Moncrief who provided me with his 1st generation copy of some of the songs from that tape. The other songs are from the Launch Haven Jam which was one of the craziest band practices I have ever been at. Recorded in a basement live to cassette in Marmora NJ. Warfare song from 1987-1988, loosely based on surf music for about 30 seconds then it just gets crazy improv treatment. I was 15 at the time... I remember it like yesterday, except for all the missing time gaps and blurred imagery...
