The First Army shoulder sleeve insignia was a black letter "A" on oliver drab backing as far back as 1917 when it was first created for those assigned to the First Army. Branch colours were embroidered into either the upper or lower space, i.e., red for Artillery, yellow for Cavalry, red and white for Engineers, buff for Quartermaster, etc. Whether this was officially sanctioned matters not as it was ipso facto!
Topics: First Army shoulder sleeve insignia, World War Two, Second World War, Insignia.

Enclosed patios are called "Florida Rooms" here in Florida, believe it or not? Mine afford lots of space for seventeen book shelves and more are needed. In addition to books, there is also a small library of DVDs and the older VHS video tapes to view on a television set that DVD and VHS can be viewed and heard. No regular or cable television for this family and no commercial ads to suffer through and paying a high monthly fee. Its nice to be able to view old films or to read books...

Regular French Army Generals wear a certain type pattern of leaves and a different red background while those generals in charge of other departments and corps like Medical, Engineers, Armaments, etc., also wear different leaves and branch colour as well. The parade dress kepi is the most expensive uniform item of a French general's uniform. Believe it or not?
