Several misspellings and other inaccuracies in this book. Triadobatrachus spelled as Tradobatrachus. Archaeopteryx lived 450 million years ago. Most puzzling thing is the map purporting to show the world during the Cretaceous Period. The continental layout is wrong; dire wolves and early horses are shown living contemporaneously with dinosaurs. At least, that's what I think it's showing.
One saving grace is the numerous Charles R. Knight illustrations in the book. Commonly seen in books about prehistoric animals, but always nice to see.
