The Alumnae Association of St. Teresa College and Academy published the alumnae newsletter until 1963, when the college moved to its new campus location and separated from the academy. At this time the college also hired an alumnae secretary and from that point on the newsletter was published solely by the college. In the late 1980s it was given a makeover and a magazine format was adopted. This publication has undergone the following name changes: St. Teresa College and Academey Alumnae Association Newsletter, St. Teresa Alumnae Newsletter, Avila Aims, Scope: Avila College, Avila College Magazine, Accent on Avila College, and Accent.
