Subject: complete recording.....
I've contacted the spfc people to see if they're interested in my collection (I taped the Pumpkins as well, more than once, plus have a collection of 70-80 lo gen analog tapes, all from the 90's)
it's a bit sad, to say the least, but I don't have upload capabilities.
anyhow, hagaralaska at gmail dot com is my email, hmu if someone is interested...
peace and geese,

As for the songs that are available, there is a definite improvement in the enthusiasm over the previous show. Corgan doesn't appear to be as confrontational with the audience at this show, although still displaying that emotional/tormented stage persona he had adopted for this tour. Before Today he comments "Here's another disenfranchised nerdy song for you...cuz I've had a bad life".
A shame that the complete show doesn't circulate, because it would be interesting to hear how the rest of the show went. The tease of Judas Priest's Livin After Midnight after Silverfuck indicates that Billy was at least in a good mood by the end of the show. Listen for the funny rendition of Sweet Sweet, with Billy laughing while James messes around with effects in the background.
Subject: Wow! My First SP show!
I was stationed up in Ferndale, CA, at a Navy base. My friends John K and James T, we were all huge SP fans and I don't know how we learned of this show (in the pre-Internet era), but we did, and we got tickets and drove down from Ferndale.
I remember we had seats in the upper area of the Warfield, more or less in the center with a pretty good stage view.
Medicine, I remember, was FUCKING LOUD. Shudder to Think, I don't recall much about them. Medicine was touring "The Buried Life", which I later bought and still spin; it has aged very well.
As for SP....the recording is pretty good, considering when it was made and how. I remember how loud the cowbell or whatever sounded on "Rhinoceros"; just hearing this recording takes me back in a way.
Another thing I remember, and I think it might have been during the "Livin' After Midnight" encore, was seeing D'Arcy offstage, pretty upset at something. I remember her standing visibly on the stage (but not 'onstage', per se) dismissively pointing at the 'show' BC and Iha were doing.
Pretty freaking cool. So very pleased to see this show up.
