chiu we've been exchanging good information with our counterparts and thank you, supervisor i know we're an original city everybody is going to ask for our help i want to an opportunity to thank the council if you ever had my doubt as to the reasons we ask everybody to do everything they can i think every coverage that's being made aware weer life examples so right down to the very neighbors of the neighborhood networks we're forming and the 3 neighborhoods i think there's going to be probably very more numbers of neighborhoods that are asking for the empowerment approach that we're doing because it gets people ready and trained it schools people trained in the the cpr and all those things are important it gets businesses into recovery before the events happened this is what our city has been important in doing when we decided that we would hire a chief resiliency officer in leading the conversations we want to recover before an event happens that's the miracle it's federal or state not about waiting to respond to an font but recovery before an event happens this b will be the learning c

i do want to echo all that was said between supervisor campos and david chiu i'll say in the past i've not supported measures that were taken outside the budget process again to stay consistent with milestone my own belief many our our conversations has to stay between the context. today i've not supported measures by my own colleague even though their measures and efforts i agreed with but again we are taken out of complexity i will not support in but not to say i don't agree that our workers need to be making more funds to survive in san francisco and the incredible work >> supervisor breed. >> thank you. i want to make a couple of comments when i was the director of the african-american culture complex i know that supervisor kim pushed aggressively to support a cost of living increase which we received for our organization. i paid my employees very well and they had health care benefits at the time i took the increases that was provided to our organization and actually apply it towards programs i was not guaranteed to increase the salaries of my staffer this is the reason why i can'

and i do know that there is -- i think supervisor david chiu is looking at doing some revisions to the 14 b ordinance and also the mayor and naomi kelly reported back a couple months ago, have done -- have conducted some outreach workshops to lbes to get their recommendations on ways of which to improve and make it easier for lbes, sbes to do business with the city. the formula retail, so, the planning heard both of the items at the thursday, july 17th meeting. the planning commission is going to continue to support the planning department's recommendations around the number of entities that will trigger formula retail. and at this point i think there will be two kind of parallel pieces of legislation for the board of supervisors, then, to finally bring together. the planning department formally introduced their ordinance last week and, so, technically this should come back before the commission and i will, you know, let me know if you'd like to hear it again. if you don't, you don't have to. but that's to decide in the next week or two. and then i have a list of recently introduced le

chiu was going to actually start the legislation to ban additional alcohol permits to pharmacies. but then, again, you have to also look at the big picture and that is we are losing our small pharmacies and then we have the big pharmacies and of course, obviously, walgreens has become the biggest on every corner kind of a thing at least in the district six. and i think that it is great to see a competitor come along and knock them down a couple of pegs and i have to be supportive of cvs and i think that they listened to us a couple of times and on the suter store they chose to do what they did there and when they did there and cvs decided for do their store at on 7th and market, they chose not to put alcohol and again they listened to the community and they started to understand, the community issues. so, i think when corporations understand or listens to the community and acts like a community partner, then they should get the support of the community when they don't listen to the community and all that they care about is money, and then, i think that i don't know if you are awar
