said an overgrown people through trash there we decided to put it a public space we've worked with the sfmta to get bulb out and crosswalks and a huge amount of pedestrian traffic and directly north of mr. michelle's establishment is the northeast medical center that serves thousands of low income people to get health care and across the street is the family connections which again serves hundreds if not thousands of families in the neighborhood. this street has two busy business lines that go back and forth people are not just stroerl not paying attention they're busy trying to get somewhere. where this box would be that would restrict the pedestrian traffic and stroerts and which were in tow the different people trying to get to a bus stop and the elderly population that's huge in our neighborhood. plus we think that the mitchel's have been helpful in expanding our straightaway streetscape this area where they put their chairs out it is only outdoor seating space that any of the businesses in the neighborhood have provided. the neighborhood association has worked hard to get >> number of g

. >> and, the sfmta has five open recommendations from cfa's audit of this sustain able street division and two recommendations asked mta to develop, the standard job description and compensation divisions for management parking facilities, reports being in the process of finalizing the job description can the non-profits that manage the parking facility and the other three recommendations asked mta to develop the traffic sign inspections and procedures, and maintain the asset listing of the traffic signs and mta reports that it has implemented a new enterprise, asset management system which is customizing each unit in the department and anticipates rolling out this system to the units responsibility for the traffic signs by the end of 2015. and we were quite aware that the system is being implemented and it is taking some time to procure. and again, once they have implemented the system in a year out we will go back and do auditing and so it is on the audit plan to go back to this particular project. >> okay. >> and of the 152 recommendations cfa made to the sfpuc in the physical year,

so a little bit about the schedule the environmental document was approved by the sfmta and even though lead of the project contributed to the sfmta and peter has been leading the effort and mta implemented the design so it's underway a new project cac was formed and they've met on june 26th a new group of people some people from the environmental cac were there the final design takes us stilettos sum and construction beginning in early 2016 with revenue options in the mid of 2018. with the completion of thirty percent design in the conceptual engineering report there was a new cost estimate to increase to $162 million it's completely fund through the recreational and was the federal small start fund. the c e r identified a few challenges with the project technical and otherwise they've found first they're focused on the station design so one of the goals of the projects is to achieve the level boarding where the doors line up with the platform and there's issues with the vehicle prosecute curd the lug nuts stick out they'll scratch a platform and in addition trying to achieve vertical

. >> thank you for the opportunity to speak, carly pain, sfmta. and excuse me. in developing this pilot program, the city shuttles and the regional shuttles and what we found is that 80 percent of all of the stopping events, on an average day are made by the intracity shuttles, and that includes mission bay, and that includes, others that either by choice, or by planning department requirement, are operating or contracting out their operations for the shuttles, and they tend to be last mile shuttles. and these, for us, one of the great purposes to remind ourselves about the pilot is that we are trying to minimize the impact on muni and the other users and they are agnostic to where the shuttles are going and a shuttle that is stopping in a muni zone and potentially impacting the operations. is having that impact whether it is going to silicon valley or whether it is going two miles. and just somewhere, within san francisco and so, we have made the specific decision not to treat them driftly, and there was a discussion and about at one point whether it was fair o

and including credit and debit cards and the sfmta parking cards as well as pay by phone and coins, and have the larger display screens which is a concern that we heard a lot from the older meters and importantly if you do pay by phone and it will show up on the meter display, which none of our existing meters did. and there is some technology cal flexibility that will allow us to have the meter service the mum pell purposes such as the part time and general meters pashing at other times and in the course of upgrading we are not making other changes to rates or time limits or anything else that would always be done separately through the action of the board or otherwise. but we are replacing all of the meters in the city, we should be done with that by february of 2015, and the folks that have been out in the neighborhood have seen them already and so we are glad to be able to report on that. and we have got good feedback so far, and but, by february 2015, all new meters in san francisco which is good news. and then, final item of my report. is disclosure of labor agreements. and just t

i didn't know that the sfmta reviewed this project and i was told i was begin of everything there was. there are things from the shadow study where -- long story short the planning department never complied with the request and when they were supposed to before the referral to you, the ethics commission, the senator terms i -- the search terms and from that staff and i found out about it last time and there was minimal files on there. what happened jonah for the fourth time for department of technology and decided to ask for the right search terms but only the deleted emails and not everything that i asked for but only the deleted ones and i found that out from the report to you. the planning department has minimally complied with these requests repeatedly and they kept saying you have everything there is. >> what is the volumes of documents you received from them all total? >> the volume of documents? >> yeah, what are we talking about? >> they were all cds. for instance the one i received last time the last file was cut off so i never got anything there. there's only so much room on
