-year-old agustin gonzalez's life... before hayward police shot him 13 times. the police chief says it started as a 9-1-1 call about two men fighting. the responding officers say they thought gonsalez had a knife and only opened fire on him after he refused to drop it and began walking toward them. gonzalez was actually holding a razor blade that his family says he often carried for work. ( james ) the chief says he is releasing the video now -- in an effort to be transparent. the gonsalez family intends to file a civil lawsuit against the officers- involved and the city of hayward...claiming unreasonable use of force. the officers who opened fire are back on regular patrol.
