are schumer and pelosi on top of their game? it should be a democratic wave, but people i know on both sides, honestly, are a little worried or hopeful that the democratic operatives and leadership may not be able to take full advantage of it. >> dana, what are the takeaways from last night for the democratic party? >> i think that what we're seeing is all the sort of oceanographic elements are there to create this wave. we have the message for the democrats, as jake was talking about there. they have the fundraising in many, if not most, cases, and they are out raising their opponents. turnout is extraordinarily high for democrats. and you just see a whole lot of enthusiasm. you saw it in ohio. you saw it with the labor-related ballot initiative in missouri. you are seeing it in this extraordinary turnout. but there are -- democrats should not rest on their laurels here. the game in the house is largely stacked against them. they are going to have to win at least by 7 or 8 percentage points to gain those two dozen seats they ne
