so, looking now at san jose, our storm ranger mobile doppler truck, we have it parked in san jose to give us the best view. there is a look at it now in action as it continues to scan around. this gives us the highest detail and puts us ahead of what the other radars are picking up on. so, definitely a great tool. we are the only ones with this and it is also picking up on that rain right there eden veil where the coyote creek continues to roll farther to the south where that goes through. we are also seeing some very heavy rain around santa clara, approaching downtown san jose, and moving toward wayne as well as milpitas. so, expect this to continue to move in with some pockets of some heavy rain. the flooding on the coyote creek, it's in effect until further notice. so, all of these areas, seeing here shaded in green along the coyote creek, will be uppnder a close eye as we go through the rest of the day and we may see more of those water levels going up. we'll talk about how full the reservoirs are and some of the other warnings around the bay area coming up in about 6 or 7 minute

it was a long night here in san jose. here's a story from one man who got an early knock on the door. >> man, i got woke us early, at 1:30 in the morning, the cops came and knocked on the door to tell us to evacuate the apartments. and my wife got the dog and got out of there. i parked at the parking lot over there. >> reporter: did you sleep in the car? >> yeah, i slept in the car. >> reporter: long night. he and his wife and two dogs, they plan to head to san francisco. they're now going to go stay with their daughter. they've had enough of this and there's no word of when this evacuation order will be lifted and from the looks of things, look at this live picture, water is still a problem here. this is 28th and santa clara. you can see they have shut down that section of 28th over there, so police have ordered people to leave but it's also difficult to get around here to move around, because of different street closures, of course, highway 101 shut down in both directions, so problems persist all over the place here. p
