here's justin berk with a look at our weather on this monday. >> here we go. we got something rolling in. at this stage of the game, you're thinking, all right, where do you get the biggest punch possible? it doesn't appear right now. even the biggest punch wouldn't compare to the last two blizzards we've had. we have a winter weather advisory. this afternoon a rain/snow mix moves in, snow north and west, light to moderate snow expected, most falling overnight. the advisory contains harford, northern baltimore county, that is north of the beltway. not including the city. carroll, howard county, points westbound and in through southern pennsylvania, 1:00 today through 3:00 in the morning. we shift our focus and show you the snow moving into southwest ohio, kentucky, indiana, it's a potent system but not the same amount of energy with it because it's one system, not a combination of two storms. 15 this morning in baltimore. 16 in easton. we'll get up to the mid-30s and this afternoon we'll develop a light mixture around town and going to a light snow overnight.

standing by is meteorologist justin berk. there's a nice breeze out here now but that is going to change soon? >> yeah. this is the best time of day to be outside. it's the coolest time of day. now that the sun is up we heat up in a hurry. the thing is as we start going deeper into the heat wave all the heat from the afternoons gets absorbed and soaked up and held in by the brick and asphalt and concrete of the city structure, meaning it's harder to lose the heat overnight. we have a long stretch ahead of us. it was back in july of 2008 where we had a seven-day stretch. this is day three in a row of 90s in baltimore. we expect it to go all week long, perhaps through next weekend and maybe into the week beyond that. 95 was yesterday's high in baltimore. 93 in easton. what a great day in ocean city at 92 degrees. they say great for them because they've got the atlantic next door to keep them cool. they are down to 66 but we've dropped to 72 this morning. 66 on the north side in york. also escaping the most brutal of the heat on
