University of California Libraries hosted an Internet Archive book scanning center at the Southern Regional Library Facility on campus at UCLA and at the Northern Regional Library Facility in Richmond California.

Books of American literature, mathematics, other subjects from the general collection and from The Bancroft Library have been selected by UC librarians in consultation with sponsors.
