I do recall it’s a drama and a major studio production released in the ‘30s, possibly as a second feature. The plot concerns an elderly couple that’s been happily married for many years but is now forced to separate for medical reasons (?), financial reasons (?).
You’re our last hope, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
P.S. This is probably is little help, but the medical practitioner thinks she saw it on TMC, while I'm certain I saw it on the old commercial-free AMC.
