First time I saw this I fell in love with Molly

attached is an old picture of my wife and I from 1989 (when we were 28)...those two look like they could be our kids. Molly looks like she could be my wife's twin.

Photo was after 10 days backpacking in the Sierras, the glow of dropping out of the world for a week or so...plus Jerry was still with us. We had seen the GD at the Greek just before we set out on this adventure.

I see the resemblance & had made a mental note to post that video when I first saw it- but it went where many of my mental notes go...

Saw her open for the old crow medicine show at the Ryman last June.
First few songs...meh. Then her band left the stage and she lit it up. A true player with strong bluegrass lineage. Band came back and all was right.
I see her name in the lineup of many music festivals. Be sure to check her out if any of you are heading to one of 'em.
