About two or so weeks ago, I asked a simple question: are there any oriental films out there to be posted or on the IA that are already subtitled? Not through the B.S. player (which I tried and it did not download properly to the point of placing a virus in my computer THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!and the Attack of the Mushroom people is not quality cinerma to send to China to a teacher teaching ESL). So I waited, nothing! C'MON! SOMEBODY IS GOTTA KNOW ABOUT THIS?

Use caution when installing "free" software. Until recently BS Player Free came bundled with adware (not viruses), and you were probably informed of this in the license and terms. Many people neglect to read these and are surprised to discover malware afterwards.

As far as the subtitles you may just have to roll your own. There are tutorials on this, google "dvd add subtitles" (without the quotes). It's not a simple task but you'll probably make more progress than you will ranting here.

Excuse me, but I was not ranting. All I wanted to know was
if there were any films out there (on IA or other films that are going to be posted) that are films of China in chinese with subtitles? FYI, it was a virus that shutdown my computer that took a day and a half to esponge off with Norton Anti-Virus and Spyware. The films are not for myself but rather a teacher friend of mine in China who would use the films (with subtitles) as a teaching tool for his classes of ESL.

Since no one has replied to your post I would take it to mean that no one knows of any films like the ones you are looking for.

That doesn't mean there not here just that those who read the forums don't know of any.

Sometimes no answer is an answer.

You may also find something usable in this section. It's called Subtitled Movies: http://www.archive.org/details/subtitled_movies
