Her influences include Annie Lennox,Cheryl Crow,Edie Brickell,60's artist Smith,Shirley Manson & Marianne Faithful. Her band is led by her husband Steven, who also writes and produces for her. Currently the couple is working on Mary Kay's first full lenght CD, which is to be released in Spring of 2001.
