I haven't been able to work on models much lately because my home town is on fire. I had to evacuate, but while I was staying at a hotel I got some great inspiration for some new infinity terrain. My hotel had these round tables with a connected media console that I thought would make a perfect piece of indoor cover for a futuristic shop or restaurant.

A two-piece turret for a Warhammer 40,000 (Games Workshop) Armies on Parade display, inspired by the turrets in Battlefield 1 (EA, DICE). Tall lower section is to be placed in underground bunker, while the section with the turret proper is to be placed directly above it above ground. Originally found a similar model on another site but the 'hooks' were incorrectly aligned and the overall design was poorly thought out. This model removed the misaligned holes and makes it so you just slide the cloud or pot off of the mount. This also increases the overall weight the pot can support. Saw dmillercg's Crater yesterday but it was a single sided mesh with a broken edge, I extruded it down then cut it off flat and ran it through a mesh fixer to make it a proper solid since meshmixer wouldn't do it for some reason. Should print fine now. Looks a lot like an old vacformed crater that isn't available any more.

There are models for bushes and overgrowth obstacles in Monolith's Conan boardgames. The bushes come in large and small versions and they can all interlock with each other. Armored energy pylons for wargaming.Used to make defensive walls, and gates. Removable energy field so they can be activated and deactivated. Optional missile pods, dual guns, sensors, or a blank cap for the tops of the pylons. Space in pylon is sized to also fit the covers for recessed office lights, or anything up too 1.5mm thick.

This is a very minor change to the original works. I like the cube, but didn't want to have to open and close it to get victims in and out. I just cut the "top" flat in Solid Works. Flip it over and it's a sealed cube ready to absorb PCs. I don't have any transparent filament at the moment, I may have to test print with glow in the dark. EDIT 1/27/18: Finally got some clear ABS.
