The Effect of Random Theory on Algorithms Buddy J. Bryant Abstract Unified random models have led to many essential advances, including simulated annealing and symmetric encryption. Given the current status of "fuzzy" models, electrical engineers particularly desire the essential unification of agents and replication. We describe a novel application for the improvement of DHCP (Eyet), proving that hierarchical databases and thin clients can collude to achieve this purpose.

Topic: Algorithms

This much-needed book on the design of algorithms and data structures for text processing emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical applications. It is intended to serve both as a textbook for courses on algorithm design, especially those related to text processing, and as a reference for computer science professionals. The work takes a unique approach, to other more general books one that goes more deeply into its topic than other more general books. It contains both classical...

Topics: Algorithms, "

This book provides algorithms and ideas for computationalists. Subjects treated include low-level algorithms, bit wizardry, combinatorial generation, fast transforms like the Fourier transform, and fast arithmetic for both real numbers and finite fields. Various optimization techniques are described and the actual performance of many given implementations is examined. The focus is on material that does not usually appear in textbooks on algorithms. The implementations are done in C++ and the GP...

Topic: algorithms

Target and pattern recognition systems are in widespread use. Efforts have been made in all areas of pattern recognition to increase the performance of these systems. Feature extraction, feature selection, and classification are the major aspects of a target recognition system. This research proposes algorithms for selecting useful statistical features in pattern/target classification problems in which the features are non-Gaussian distributed. In engineering practice, it is common to either...

In this Learning Data Structures and Algorithms video training course, Rod Stephens will teach you how to analyze and implement common algorithms used in data processing. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous programming experience is required. You will start by learning about the complexity theory, then jump into learning about numerical algorithms, including randomizing arrays, prime factorization, and numerical integration. From there, Rod will teach you...

The Discrete Logarithm Problem (DLP) is a fundamental cryptographic primitive. The DLP is defined for any cyclic group, specifically finite fields, whether the integers modulo a prime p or a polynomial field of characteristic p modulo some irreducible polynomial f(x). For polynomial fields over a finite field, also known as Galois fields, the DLP can be viewed as finding a solution to the equation 1 + x(i) = x(j) for arbitrary values of i (modulo some primitive polynomial). Solutions are...

In computer science, radix sort is a non-comparative sorting algorithm. It avoids comparison by creating and distributing elements into buckets according to their radix. For elements with more than one significant digit, this bucketing process is repeated for each digit, while preserving the ordering of the prior step, until all digits have been considered
