This is a complete version of “Nightmare Castle,” (“Amanti d'Oltretomba”) running 1:44; other versions in the Archive are the US edit, at 1:19. According to imdb.com, “Cut scenes are mainly plot to increase the tempo, as well as some scenes with violence.” This print is considerably sharper, and with better contrast, than the others, as well. Although the opening and closing credits are in Italian, all dialogue is in dubbed English. I’ve included an Italian movie poster, which...

Someone on YouTube uploaded a copy of this film a few years ago, much to my surprise; my own copy I've had for a long time is a lot worse quality, so this is mostly going up more for redundancy. Definitely a bootleg of a bootleg, and unfortunately not one of the copies with subtitles on it, either. Audio quality sounds okay despite the desyncing, at least?

In the grand tradition of every other "Frankenstein" movie, this "Ultimix" was cobbled together: "a few scenes were ripped from uncut VHS and an Italian TV-rip, then muxed within dvdrip to make this longest uncut version," according to my source. The Archive includes one at about 84-minutes; another is the German widescreen (sans audio) edition, at 89 minutes. But there may be yet another one out there: "Incidentally, there’s some confusion about the...
