I created a small gift box for some friends of mine. It has two locking clasps on either side that keep it closed when not in use, which are easily removed to open the box. Inside there is a self which can be removed and underneath there is a smaller space for storing other things. This box can be scaled up to accommodate various items and uses. The preliminary results of phase locking an incoherent laser array to a master source in an attempt to achieve coherent operation are presented. The techniques necessary to demonstrate phase locking are described along with some topics for future consideration. As expected, the results obtained suggest that injection locking of an array, where the spacing between adjacent longitudinal modes of its elements is significantly larger than the locking bandwidth, may not be feasible.

This is a locking plate for the new Yamaha 600wh battery fitted to the Haibike 2021 Allmtn series of bikes. This part is usually made by ABUS and bolts on the the battery to lock it in the frame of the e-bike. I couldn't get one so designed and printed my own, the finished model will require some fettling to ensure it fits well.

A proposed safety system would effect an inhibitory action whenever a power tool was aimed in a direction outside a prescribed range of allowable directions. The power tool could be a welding torch, blowtorch, laser, drill, or gun, for example.
