I was looking for a simple grip for my Yagi antenna and couldn't find one. I found the design by Bhyde101 and decided to modify it to fit my antenna by adding the top mounting plate and setting the dimensions. Hope some one gets some use out of it just like me.

These are some insulators i make for the construction of a Yagi Antenna, these will fit a 25X25mm aluminium boom and are for element sizes 6-8-10mm round bar/tubing, Please see my other things I will be uploading some driven element mounts to suit, I usually centre the tube then retract slightly and use a dab of superglue and re centre.... The feasibility of obtaining large bandwidth and high directivity from a multilayer Yagi-like microstrip patch antenna at 10 GHz is investigated. A measured 10-dB bandwidth of approximately 20 percent and directivity of approximately 11 dBi is demonstrated through the implementation of a vertically-stacked structure with three parasitic directors, above the driven patch, and a single reflector underneath the driven patch. Simulated and measured results are compared and show fairly close...

This report presents results of a series of site and noise surveys performed in Alaska. Surveys were performed at the former OTH-B site at Gulkana with the aim of determining the spectrum occupancy and background noise level at nominally 38 MHz, 420 MHz and 440 MHz. Three site surveys were performed at Elmendorf AFB near Anchorage, aimed at determining the spectrum occupancy and background noise levels at 40 to 50 MHz. Noise surveys were also performed at three existing radar sites, Galena,...

Writing is a complex skill that is hard to teach. Although the written product is what is often evaluated in the context of language teaching, the process of giving thought to linguistic form is fascinating. For almost forty years, language teachers have found it more effective to help learners in the writing process than in the written product; it is there that they could find sources of writing problems. Despite all controversy evoked by post-process approaches with respect to process...

A proposed microstrip Yagi antenna would operate at a frequency of 8.4 GHz (which is in the X band) and would feature a mechanically simpler, more elegant design, relative to a prior L-band microstrip Yagi antenna. In general, the purpose of designing a microstrip Yagi antenna is to combine features of a Yagi antenna with those of a microstrip patch to obtain an antenna that can be manufactured at low cost, has a low profile, and radiates a directive beam that, as plotted on an elevation plane...

This is an antenna build for those radio operators who like to reduce weight while operating VHF radio using a Yagi antenna. I created three 3D printed mounts that fit on a standard aluminum hiking pole. Using Arrow antenna elements (or other elements provided by the operator), a simple lightweight Yagi antenna can be created for back country VHF antenna use. Considering the operator will already have the hiking pole with them, the only additional weight is the elements. 3D printed mounts= 0.4...

A multilayer patch antenna, similar to a Yagi antenna, surrounded by a metallic wall has been devised to satisfy requirements to fit within a specified size and shape and to generate a beam with a half-power angular width of <=40 deg. This antenna provides a gain of about 14 dB; in contrast, the gain of a typical single-patch antenna lies between 5 and 6 dB. This antenna can be considered an alternative to a two-dimensional array of patch antenna elements, or to a horn or helical...

This approach views culture as complex, dynamic, and diverse. Five Japanese undergraduate and graduate students...

The prior version was just based on dimensions from a questionable online calculator. This version however was fine tuned experimentally. Print this out and get some single strand copper wire exactly 1mm thick (basically 18 awg). Strip the insulation off, slide it into the holes on the print, and then cut...

Offshore rectennas are feasible and cost competitive with land rectennas but the type of rectenna suitable for offshore use is quite different from that specified in the present reference system. A nonground plane design minimizes the weight and greatly reduces the number of costly support towers. This perferred design is an antenna array consisting of individually encapsulated dipoles with reflectors or tagis supported on feed wires. Such a 5 GW rectenna could be built at a 50 m water depth...

This is a printable handle for a yagi antenna. It includes a compass mount, so that the antenna can be used for radio direction finding a.k.a. fox hunts. Furthermore the handle is hollow. thus making it possible to mount on a pole. But be careful what material you are using to print the parts in regards of stability. To connect all pieces I used M4 nuts and M4x8 or M4x10 screws. The antenna is friction fitted by the screws on the bottom of the prints. A compass can be mounted using zip-ties. I...
