This is a printable handle for a yagi antenna. It includes a compass mount, so that the antenna can be used for radio direction finding a.k.a. fox hunts. Furthermore the handle is hollow. thus making it possible to mount on a pole. But be careful what material you are using to print the parts in regards of stability. To connect all pieces I used M4 nuts and M4x8 or M4x10 screws. The antenna is friction fitted by the screws on the bottom of the prints. A compass can be mounted using zip-ties. I...

These are parts for building a jig for bending a piece of solid copper wire into a folded dipole. Two of the "Folded Dipole Bend" parts need to be printed and one of the "Folded Dipole Brace" needs to be printed. The "bend" part should be spaced apart for the correct length needed. For example, for a 1/2 wave folded dipole on 441MHz, the length from outside bend to outside bend should be 33cm. The parts can be screwed into a piece of wood with drywall screws. A...

I updated the tape parts to better fit together when assembled. Also, the tape tip slide is beefier. I print 100% infill, ABS or PLA, no support. 2/2/2019. The PVC tape measure Yagi-Uda antenna is a common amateur radio project for transmitter hunting. I built these parts to eliminate the PVC joints and hose clamps. You will still need a PVC pipe rod to mount these parts. I added screw holes for the bases so glue isn't required. Long M3 hex machine screws were used to mount the covers. The 6...

My portable 2m 6 element yagi for portable use as 3D printed version. I made some changes compared to Ondra's design: No more glueing required in order to connect the crosses to the gfrp tubes. Screws are used instead. Boom locking is realized by small inserts. For details and complete building practice see attached pdf! 73 Martin - DF6MH

This thing is a collection of parts to build a duo band dipole for 2m / 70cm or a ultra portable duo band yagi-uda antenna. The yagi-uda weighs only about 340 grams and can be transported easily in a backpack as the elements can be nested inside the boom. The files contain the upper and lower side of the element mounting brackets that can be clamped onto a 16mm PVC electrical installations pipe. The radiators can be made of 2,4mm aluminium welding rods for TIG welding. The coax cable is...

I stood on the shoulders of ReallyBigTeeth and Andrew McNeil (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TanbyHBKrvU) and adapted the design a bit: - made "step-wise tapered" guides so that the element can only positioned the optimal way - the parasitic elements have different size mounting holes to fit only at one position on the guides: "fool proof" ;) - added a reflector made of aluminium foil clamped in-between 2 back elements - back cover allows for tri-pod mount - used 2.5mm2...

R&D Report 1987-13 : Band II VHF antenna for home construction. S. Wakeling A wideband Band II Yagi antenna, suitable for home construction, has been designed using computer techniques. The antenna is intended for use as a domestic receiving antenna for VHF/FM sound broadcasting at frequencies in the range 88 to 108 MHz. Scale-model antennas were constructed and measured to verify the performance predicted by the computer. Finally, a full-scale Yagi antenna was constructed and its radiation...

A simple parts holder to build a 5 elements Yagi for the 2m band, project of the antenna is not mine. it was made by 4S5DRJ, i just did the plastic parts to build the antenna itself. Highly reccomend to use PETG filament, it doesn't absorb humidity and it doesn't suffer the heat of the sun. Print as many pieces as you need (antenna is modular, you can use more or less elements as you prefer), pieces has a 6mm hole to use alluminium rods (found in DIY shop) and held in place with a small screw....

Design goal: create custom part for assembling Yagi antenne. You can print light yagi components. The boom is 25 mm Al pipe but you can use pipes from various materials (this affects only the weight of the structure). Elements are 8 mm Al tube. Reflector for 2m antenna is divided to 2 parts. Is longer than 1m and is connected with screw terminal. For example I assembled yagi 8 + 6 elements 2 / 70cm bands

These are 3D printed parts to enable quick and easy assembly of a particular duoband Yagi antenna, the design for which can be found [here](http://www.qsl.net/dk7zb/Duoband/duoband_2-70_2-3.htm). The design has been developed in collaboration with the amateur radio league in Nepal. The parts enable the antenna elements to be quickly positioned on the boom without a need to measure out exactly where they should go.

As the communication technology is thriving day by day, the number of satellites are shooting up in a faster rate. The use of smaller satellites for Education, Scientific and Commercial purposes are usually positioned in LEO Low Earth Orbit flights and typically their short periods of crossing across the Line Of Sight of an Earth Station brings the need of finding ways of expanding the communication between ground and space segments. Due to the small form Factor of a 5Ghz Biquad Yagi antenna, it might be useful to just wrap around wire instead of complicately bending. The idea is to wrap while tightening the edges with the edge tool. Then solder the loop closed Lastly tighten middle part with 2nd tool. This needs some improvement overall. I could get a 30% improvement in throughput compared to a standard 5dbi antenna. (My test was against 2 concrete walls. 70 mpbs standard antenna, 100 mbps with yagi=) This is less than I...

I when I tested reached 808m/2650ft in CE mode i.e. up 200m/650ft than without yagi. I designed it for use reamins of Cu sheet and I suppose better results with Al or Cu rods.
