NEVASPLIT PANELS

are filling this specification every day for builders
of ships, street railway cars, automobiles, delivery
wagons, decorators, architects, builders of portable
and permanent dwellings, bungalows, garages,
sign makers, etc., and for many specialties and
staple articles where such a material greatly en-
hances the product, but would prohibit the use of
any known lumber.

WHAT ARE THEY?

Nfversplit Panels arc wood in its high-
est form of refinement. Fr^.d from knots, sap
and all impLrfectlons, they present a surface en-
tirely uniform, in which cver>' square inch Is
goud lumber.

The shrinkage and expansion represent the
very minimum, and is practically nil. Having no
in'fiiri. they are as strong one way as another and
splitting or checking, which so often occurs in
wood panels, is impossible.

The method employed in painting Nevasplit
Panels is the same as that «dopted fur ww)d.
They will take and retain a beautiful high finish.

For this reason they are particularly adapted
to high grade coach and automobile work.

HOW THEY ARE MADE

The manufacture of NEVASPLIT Paneling"
is accomplished by felting or mechanically locking
together the fibres of the tissue-like layers, produc-
ing a board of absolute uniformity combined with
strength and lightness. Experiments and service
tests covering many years have proved the super-
iority of this construction over the method of com-
pression as it gives a panel which is absolutely
homogeneous with no alternating hard and
soft spots.

No glues or other materials soluable in water
are used in the process of manufacture.

WATER RESISTANCE

Owing to the method of their construction,
and the materials employed, NEVASPLIT Panels
are weatherproof. They cannot crack, laminate
or blister, even when exposed to the elements, and
in this respect are far superior to wood.

The following photographs will illustrate some
of the fields in which NEVASPLIT is being ex-
tensively used both for exterior and interior work.

NON-INFLA MM ABLE

NEVASPLIT

By chemical treatment NEVASPLIT Panels
become permanently fire -resisting, in addition to
their water-resisting qualities.

H

As a fire retarding medium, Non-inflammable
NEVASPLIT is superior to metal sheathing. Its
non-conductive and non-corrosive qualities make
it especially valuable as a fire barrier for steam-
ships, railways, electric plants, etc.

Non-inflammable NEVASPLIT can be
painted and otherwise treated the same as regular
NEVASPLIT.
