PRECISION PRODUCTS

Too often an after-thought, the titles of a picture should
receive as much attention and planning as any other phase
of the production.

Title announcements are made
by using an overhead camera.
Most cameramen prefer this
method. Shown is the TG IV in
this vertical position.

FOR l6/35mm PROFESSIONAL USE

with these added features:

• Title board is 7 Vs" x 9 Vi" with tipping frame.

• Horizontal and vertical adjustment of camera
carriage and keyways.

• For "zoom" and adjustment purposes, carriage
is activated by means of built-in spindle,
crank and hand wheel.

• To facilitate vertical operation a counter-balance
has been added which can be disengaged.

• All parts are made of greater strength so this
model can be used for 16 and 35mm cameras.

• Built with the precision of an optical bench.

WEIGHT PRESENTS
NO PROBLEM

A new use for the S.O.S. Titler
has been found by the U.S. Naval
Civil Engineering Laboratory at
Port Hueneme, California.
Previously this device had been
limited to such cameras as the
Bolex, EK Cine Special, K 100,
B & H Filmo and Eyemo, Arri 16
and 35mm newsreel types including
the 8MM types.

Navy engineers designed a heavier
adaptor plate* to mount their
Mitchell 16 camera. The top plate
normally stays mounted on the
camera and then is just slipped
into the adaptor assembly. They
report excellent results.
