MENTOR NURSERIES

Mentor, Lake County, Ohio

Our Nurseries are located at Mentor, Ohio, 2^ miles west
of Painesville, Ohio, and 2 miles east of Mentor, Stop 68, on
The Cleveland, Painesville & Ashtabula Electric Railway. Cars
stop in front of the grounds.

Our Nurseries are devoted entirely to the growing of High
Grade Nursery Stock, including a large variety of rare and choice
varieties, not common to the general trade.

We wish to call special attention to the fact that our trees
are frequently transplanted and grown at suitable distances
apart, so as to allow the plants to develop a good root system
and have a corresponding weight to the height, insuring well
proportioned plants.

Shipping Season generally opens about March 15th in spring
and September 1st in fall.

Inspection and Fumigation. Our stock is regularly inspected
by the authorized agents of Ohio, Department of Nursery and
Orchard Inspection, and all plants susceptible to the attacks of
insects are thoroughly fumigated before shipment, in accordance
with the laws of the State of Ohio.
