JAN DAVIS - ROCK 'N' FLAMENCO - STONE TIGER RECORDS - STCD-7771

DAVI5

The BAD BOY of FLAME'S/CO

Never before... has there been a gathering of fully-packed cuts, containing Rock & Pop,
with downright funky BASS, DRUMS, CONGAS, VIOLINS, HORNS and everything else
1 you can imagine in these smokin' tracks. It's all driven by the BAD BOY of Flamenco

guitar, JANDAVI5.

1

This is NOT New Age or Neo-Flamenco. This is REAL Flamenco guitar.

In his own words, Jan said, "Let's call this CD album what it is:

"ROCK 'N' FLAMENCO," with Drums, Bass and Guitar, IN YOUR FACE."

I JAN DAVIS and THE SPAIN GANG have put this compilation together for

FART Y FEOFLE. So if you are strictly into Performing Arts, you don't want to touch
this one... It’s too HOT! Instead, ask your retailer for one of the following:

f

"CONCERT ESPANOL," JAN DAVIS Live' with the Universal Philharmonic
Players. (Stone Tiger STCD-7772)) Or "CONCERT BY THE SEA,"
the Flamenco/Classical Guitar of JAN DAVIS (Stone Tiger STCD-7770)

(Check Amazon.com, for all future releases.)

Funk up & Party Down with 15 cuts of ROCK *N* FLAMENCO, plus bonus cuts:
the vocal, "Coyote," (English & Spanish versions) and for smooth jazz fans,
the much requested "Dark Blue."

JAN DAVIS is the rebel of Flamenco guitar.

A recent review says," JAN DAVIS would give Flamenco ’purists"
a heart attack!" The purists reply, "What have you done to our music?
You're not supposed to mix Flamenco or Classical guitar with 'Rock'
while calling it 'Funk." "How dare you?"

"I don't give a damn," says Davis, "Flamenco is ass-kickin'
music, so put it together with ass-kickin' Rock and really kick some
ass! I'm tired of Flamenco taking the back seat, or being stuck away
in some remote night club once in a while. You can make Flamenco
guitar fit in with most styles of music, and I've proven it. Hell, listen to
"Flamenco Funk" and others here... there's even steel guitar
giving a kiss of country in a couple of these tracks! So don't tell me
Flamenco doesn't belong... that's so much bullshit! I'm really
pissed at some of these asshole record executives, telling me
what people, especially young people, are going to like, when
in fact, they can't find their own asses! So if Ravel turns over in
his grave for what I've done to his "Bolero," he'll probably have
a smile on his face. And, if this album kicks some ass, I'll record
more of it. You've got plenty to choose from here, with 15 cuts, plus
bonus cuts : the vocal, "Coyote" (English and Spanish versions) and
for smooth jazz fans: "Dark Blue."

So FUNK UP and PARTY DOWN with "ROCK ’ N ’ FLAMENCO!"
